1. Browse through the pictures of the different purses available.

2. Choose which style, color, size and quantity of which selections you would like to order

4. I will then send you information on how to send your donation *

5. You will be sent updates on the missions in the Amazon Jungle, as made possible by your generosity and donation

6. You should receive your Peruvian goodies during the first week of May, 2013 when I return to the USA

Financial specifics:

$ 250.00 - For the Children of Iquitos
There are 25 children in the childrens program at the Church in Iquitos. I want to try to raise $10 per child so each can receive a special gift from us.
If you would like to sponsor a child- please shoot me an e-mail!

$200.00- Missions Team Fund
This fund will help to cover the cost of necessities like transportation, food, and supplies needed for our missions team for the duration of the time we will be serving in Iquitos.

$250.00- Cost of Flight
Iquitos is only accessible by Plane. It is surrounded by Amazon Rainforest and the Amazon River.
The Peruvians were able to find cheaper tickets, but because I am from USA The best deal we could find for me was right at $250 round trip.

AMAZON JUNGLE MISSIONS TRIP (APRIL 2013)

100% of the proceeds from "Purses 4 Peru" are going to support our missions trip to the Amazon Jungle the interior of Peru.
The missions team will spend our time there serving and ministering to a church in the city of Iquitos as well as ministering in whatever way we can as God opens doors.

The Church here has been working together to raise funds to support our missions trip.

UPDATE: 3/25/13
Our missions trip to the jungles of Iquitos has been postponed due to relentless and torrential rains and floods in the Amazon area.

The Amazon river is really high from the rainy season and it is now at danger alert level red, so there can be no travel in or out of Iquitos until the rains stop and the river recedes.

There is no way to know when the waters will abate, and when it will be dry enough to make travel there safe again.

After much prayer and deliberation, I feel like God is leading me not to extend my return ticket to an indefinite date, but instead to return to the USA April 2^nd as originally planned.

This is not how I planned on things working out, but I believe God is using the high flood waters of Iquitos’ rainy season to redirect my path right now. I have full confidence that this is His leading.

The money raised for Iquitos through Purses 4 Peru will be staying in Peru. The local missions team will take it with them when they go to Iquitos and will be used for the children as planned.

I am praying about the opportunity to return to Peru again this summer so I can be a part of the missions team when they go to Iquitos. But right now I am just taking the next step of what I believe is obedience to Him, and planning on getting on a plane in just 1 week to return to U.S soil.

Even if I don’t get the chance to come back this summer, the team will still be going and doing the same work with the kids in Iquitos (with or without me) which wouldn’t have been possible without your help and support.
